New double-glazed sashes
Whether you would like to upgrade from single glazed to double-glazed, you always have the option to do so without replacing the whole frame. If the current box frame is in good condition, there is no reason to remove it. Going doubled glazed can help fix condensation problems and these new sashes are also always designed like for like to match the original windows.

Overhaul and draught-proofing
Making drastic improvements on keeping the warmth inside your home, reducing noise, smooth running sashes & no more rattling on those windy days. The staff and parting beads are replaced for ones with integral draught excluders fitted inside. Then, we would fit an integral draught excluder on the bottom sash meeting rail, making the whole window completely sealed. A new fastener is fitted on at the end to pull both the top and bottom sashes together creating more of a seal.

Rotten sill replacement and box repairs
If there is rain coming in from underneath the inside of the box frame, we would recommend completely cutting out the bottom section of the frame and re-fitting with a new hardwood sill. A lot of times box repairs are needed too during this. Once the new sill has been fitted, we paint it with three coats and make sure it is totally watertight.
